Spring Bancorp Announces Election of Director Olney, Maryland - Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:SASR) is pleased to announce the election of Craig A. Ruppert to the Board of Directors. "The Board is pleased to appoint an individual with Mr. Ruppert's banking and business background. Over the years, Mr. Ruppert has been involved in a number of community activities including serving on the Easter Seal Board. He has been awarded the Arthur Anderson Award for Best Business Practice, the Leadership Washington Award for his work with the Kennedy Playground Renovation and the U.S. President's Service Award. Mr. Ruppert is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and currently lives in Laytonsville with his wife and 5 children.
