Laytonsville, MD - The Associated Builders and Contractors of Metropolitan Washington named Ruppert Nurseries its Sitework/Landscaping Subcontractor of the Year in its 2002 "Excellence In Construction" awards program. This is the fifth time Ruppert has received this award; the first four were awarded to Ruppert Landscape Company prior to its sale. The award was voted on by over 100 general contractor members in the Washington metropolitan area. Bob Jones, director of landscape operations for Ruppert, noted that the ABC award is one of the most meaningful honors a company can receive because "we do not submit our name for consideration. Instead, the nomination comes from the contractors themselves. It's gratifying to know that we have met or exceeded many of our customers' expectations and we're grateful to have been selected. We will continue to do our best." Ruppert Nurseries, Inc. is a 300-acre wholesale tree nursery in Montgomery County which also provides commercial and high-end residential landscape installation and large tree-transplanting services. |
