Laytonsville, MD - Ruppert Nurseries is pleased to announce the promotion of Jorge Torres to assistant nursery manager. Torres, who has been with Ruppert for three years and has over 15 years of experience in the nursery industry, will oversee all nursery field operations including digging, pruning, liner planting and field maintenance. "Since joining Ruppert, Jorge has been an integral part of our team and has been increasing crew efficiency and morale," said Kelly Lewis, director of tree-growing operations. "His ability to manage personnel and his talent in all facets of the trade are instrumental in the success of our business."
