Laytonsville, MD - In addition to its branch offices in Laytonsville, Md., Philadelphia and Atlanta, Ruppert has re-entered the Virginia market by opening a landscape installation branch in Chantilly, Va., which is just west of Dulles International Airport. Ruppert served the Virginia Metropolitan area from 1982 until its sale in 1998 and worked on landscape projects such as Avion Office Park in Chantilly, Loudoun Gateway in Sterling and Freddie Mac Headquarters in Tyson's Corner. Ken Thompson, a Frederick, Md., resident, who has been with Ruppert for over 18 years and has managed three branches, will lead the new branch alongside a staff of Ruppert veterans. Joining Thompson are Mike Marshall (Estimating and Sales), of Frederick, Md., Kurt Siemon (Contract Administrator), of Herndon, Va., and Shaun Snodgrass (Production Manager) of Deale, Md. Marshall, Siemon and Snodgrass have worked for Ruppert for 10 years, six years and one year, respectively. "Re-entering the Virginia market was a natural step for us to take," said President Chris Davitt. "We had already been serving the Virginia area from our Maryland branch and we are excited about having the opportunity to open a branch that will accommodate our Virginia customers." Ruppert Nurseries, Inc. provides commercial landscape installation and landscape management services in the mid-Atlantic and Atlanta regions and is also a 475-acre wholesale tree nursery in Montgomery County, Md. |
