Ruppert Nurseries Names Award Recipients February 8, 2002 Contact: Cheri Baker (301) 482-0300 Laytonsville, MD - Five Ruppert Nurseries employees were awarded the companies' annual honors at a recent corporate function. This year's awards and recipients are: Achievement Award. The company's top honor was presented to Oscar Morales for demonstrating outstanding job execution and high quality results for the company in 2001. Morales is a tree spade operator who has been with the company for eight years exhibiting continuously improving performance. He was selected from over 50 employees. Impact Award. This award is given to an employee whose outstanding dedication and contributions make a positive impact on their division for the year. Brendan Hunt was named for the second consective year in the landscape division; Jorge Torres was named in the nursery division. Crewman of the Year. This award is presented to the crewman who demonstrates superior self-motivation and exceptional field production for the year. This year's recipients are Isac Reyes, who wins for the second consecutive year in the nursery division; and Miguel Perez, who was named in the landscape division.
