Jim Tuzzolino Promoted to Operations Manager

Laytonsville, MD – Ruppert Nurseries is pleased to announce the promotion of Jim Tuzzolino to Operations Manager in our Maryland Landscape Management Branch.

Tuzzolino, a Deale, Md. resident, began with the company in 2005 as Production Manager. In his new role, he is responsible for all aspects of field production in the branch including personnel, vehicles and equipment, safety, subcontracts, direct cost accounts and select overhead expenses. As Operations Manager he will supervise the Production Manager, Project Manager(s) and Purchaser.

“Jim’s contributions to some of Ruppert’s major recent projects such as The University of Maryland, Glenstone, and Rockville Town Center, make it evident that he is well-equipped to take on the responsibilities of his new position,” says Rich Schubach, Branch Manager, Maryland Landscape Installation.

Ruppert Nurseries, Inc. provides commercial landscape installation and landscape management services in the mid-Atlantic and Atlanta regions and is also a 475-acre wholesale tree nursery in Montgomery County, Md.
