Craig Ruppert, Chief Executive Officer
As the company's founder and chief executive, Craig has been responsible for developing the company's mission, culture and values. His experience and involvement with outside board memberships in other industries have allowed him to bring innovative ideas and management approaches to Ruppert Nurseries. Craig's current responsibilities include strategic planning, financial management and personnel development. He has been with Ruppert for 25 years.
Chris Davitt, President
Chris' primary focus is to make sure that the company's visions and values are integrated into its daily operation. He does this by working closely with the management team on its planning, personnel development and systems control processes. Chris has been working for the Ruppert organization for 25 years and is a certified professional horticulturist.
Ken Hochkeppel, Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Ken is involved in all strategic financial matters of the company and oversees many of the financial functions such as cash flow management, banking and insurance relations. Additionally, he has a management role with the Information Systems for the company and works closely with the divisions, especially the landscape management division, in developing systems that assist in more efficient management. Ken has been in the landscape industry for over 30 years and with the Ruppert organization for 13 years, and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in landscape architecture from Rutgers University and an MBA from George Mason University.

Bob Jones, Director of Landscape Installation
Bob oversees the landscape installation division of the company. His responsibilities include planning and budgeting, new branch development, personnel development, quality control and customer relations. He has been with Ruppert for ten years, has over 21 years of industry experience and is a certified professional horticulturist.
Phil Key, Director of Landscape Management
Phil oversees the landscape management division of the company. His responsibilities include planning and budgeting, new branch development, personnel development, quality control and customer relations. He has been with Ruppert for ten years, has over 21 years of industry experience.
Patrick Hill, Information Technology Manager

Patrick is responsible for all internal computer operations at Ruppert Nurseries’ various branches.He has been with Ruppert for one year and in the information technology field for over 10 years.He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Radford University, and is technology certified in MCSE (Microsoft), CCNA (Cisco), CCA (Citrix), and A+ (Hardware). 

Will Brown, Safety and Loss Prevention Manager

As safety and loss prevention manager, Will is responsible for monitoring the company’s performance, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, aggressively managing all areas of risk and safety, and ensuring that employee development occurs in those areas for all branches. Will has 12 years of experience and is OSHA 500 Certified. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in business management and a masters of science in occupational safety and health, both from Marshall University.

Reid Altavilla, Fleet Manager
As fleet manager, Reid is accountable for the security, maintenance and purchasing of all vehicles and equipment as well as the technical support for their operation. Reid has been with the Ruppert organization for over 10 years and has over 24 years of experience in fleet management, safety implementation and shop management.
Jay Long, Dir. of Organizational and People Development
As director of organizational and people development, Jay works closely with managers to provide them with the tools and assistance they need to train and develop their employees and to coordinate their recruiting efforts. Jay has been in the contracting industry for over 21 years and he brings with him a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from The George Washington University and an MBA from the University of Maryland. He has been with the Ruppert organization for 6 years.
Amy Snyder, Director of Public Relations
Amy's expertise is in public relations, employee relations and special events. She undertakes specific marketing projects for the company as they arise. Amy has a bachelors degree in communications and a masters degree in professional writing from Towson University. She has been with the Ruppert organization for over five years.
Ty Trent, Training and Development Manager

Trent, formerly the branch manager for Ruppert's Virginia Landscape Management branch, has been in the landscape industry for over 20 years. His new responsibilities include developing and implementing effective management and horticultural skills training for Ruppert staff. Trent holds a bachelors degree in landscape contracting from Penn State University and is a Certified Landscape Technician.

Landscape Installation Division
 
Patrick Luzier, Branch Manager
Patrick oversees all landscape installation operations at our Georgia branch. His responsibilities include planning, budgeting and personnel development within his branch as well as ensuring customer satisfaction. He has been with the Ruppert organization for six years and has over 16 years of industry experience.
Ken Thompson, Branch Manager
Ken oversees all landscape installation operations at our Virginia branch. His responsibilities include planning, budgeting and personnel development within his branch as well as ensuring customer satisfaction. He has over 26 years of experience (20 with the Ruppert organization) in landscape construction and landscape management and is a certified professional horticulturist.
Rich Schubach, Branch Manager
Rich oversees all landscape installation operations at our Maryland branch. His responsibilities include planning, budgeting and personnel development within his region as well as ensuring customer satisfaction. Rich has been with the Ruppert organization for over 19 years, has over two decades of industry experience and is a certified professional horticulturist.
 
Landscape Management Division
 
Doug Halsey, Branch Manager
Doug oversees all landscape management operations at our Maryland branch. His responsibilities include planning, budgeting and personnel development within his region as well as ensuring customer satisfaction. Doug has been with Ruppert for over 12 years, has over 16 years of industry experience, has a degree in plant science from the State University of New York at Cobleskill and is a certified professional horticulturist and pesticide applicator.
Mike Monde, Branch Manager
Mike oversees all landscape management operations at our Philadelphia branch. His responsibilities include planning, budgeting and personnel development within his region as well as ensuring customer satisfaction. Mike has been with Ruppert for over 7 years, has over two decades of industry experience and holds a degree in business administration from Delaware Valley College.
Fred Key, Branch Manager
Fred oversees all landscape management operations at our Virginia branch. His responsibilities include planning, budgeting and personnel development within his region as well as ensuring customer satisfaction. Fred has been with Ruppert for over six years, has over 15 years of industry experience and brings a bachelor of science degree from Salisbury State University.
Steve Faber, Branch Manager
Steve oversees all landscape management operations at our Georgia branch. His responsibilities include planning, budgeting and personnel development within his region as well as ensuring customer satisfaction. Steve has been with Ruppert for four years, has nearly two decades of industry experience and has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Georgia.
Jack Jones, Branch Manager

Jack oversees all landscape management operations at our newest branch in Prince Georges County, Maryland. His responsibilities include planning, budgeting and personnel development within his region as well as ensuring customer satisfaction. Jack has been with Ruppert for two years, has over nine years of industry experience and nine years of military experience as a Parris Island drill instructor. During that time he also was an honor graduate of both the Marine Corps Sergeant’s Leadership Course and the Staff Sergeant’s Career Course.

Kelly Lewis, Director of Tree-Growing Operations
Kelly's role is to oversee all tree-growing operations. His responsibilities include sales and marketing, customer service, product development and quality control as well as personnel development and recruitment for all positions within his division. Kelly has been with Ruppert for over eight years, has over two decades of industry experience and is a certified professional horticulturist.
