Our Tree Moving division specializes in large caliper or large quantity planting and transplanting projects.
For landscape contractors- We aim to assist our customers with large caliper tree planting as well as assistance with difficult/limited access jobs.
For homeowners- Moving and installation of plant material of at least 5” caliper (trunk diameter) or 18’ tall.

Tree Transplanting
Our tree spade services provide our customers with options to feasibly relocate plant material on site no matter how difficult of a spot it might be.

Tree Installation
We maintain one of the largest selections of premier landscape-size trees on the east coast and we have the necessary equipment to install these trees from our nursery to most project/ home sites.

Specialty Hand Digging
The production crews at Ruppert Nurseries are trained to hand-dig and move (including the use of a crane when necessary) specimens of almost any size.
The truck-mounted spades dig and plant up to 11-inch caliper trees (up to 14-inch caliper with certain conditions) as well as evergreens in excess of 30’
100” and 90” Truck-Mount
This skid loader-mounted tree spade digs and plants a range of trees from three-to-five-inch caliper and evergreens to 18’20’. It features a John Deere skid-steer loader with a Dutchman tree spade.
54” Loader-Mount
This skid-loader-mounted tree spade digs and plants up to four-inch caliper trees as well as evergreens to 14-16’.
